6-8	Thick	Pork Chops
		Parsley
2	Cups	Onion
2	T.	Butter
4	Med.	Apples, diced
3	T.	Butter
3	T.	Flour
2	Cups	Stale Beer
		Salt and Pepper to taste
1	Clove	Garlic
1	Jar	Sauerkraut

Method:
Brown Pork Chops. Sprinkle with parsley while browning.  Remove
chops and place in a shallow roasting pan.  Yellow onion in 2 T.
butter.  Add the diced apples.  Cover the bottom of pan with apple
mixture.  Place pork chops on top. In the frying pan melt 3 T.
butter and add flour to form a paste.  Add 2 cups stale beer to
make a sauce.  Bring to a boil, and add pepper and parsley to
sauce.  Salt chops and add garlic.  Cover with Sauerkraut.
Spread sauce over top.
Cover with foil and bake at 350 Degrees F. for 2 Hours.
