Cut in butter. Dissolve 1 tsp. sugar in water. Sprinkle in yeast. Let stand. Scald milk, cool to lukewarm. When cool,, blend in egg yolk Stir yeast & add to milk mixture. Blend. Add all to dry mix all at once. Stir till well blended. Cover bowl with wax paper and cloth. Chill 2 hours. Roll dough 1/3" thick. cut in strips 6 - 8" long. Twist from centre and coil to end.
