<RecipeText>Heat oil in kettle.
Add bacon, onion, raisins, pepper and corn; sauté slightly.
Add water; bring to a boil. Add rice; stirring occasionally.
When the water is absorbed, cover kettle tightly. Turn burner to extremely low heat. Allow to simmer for 15mins.
