Ragle's Breakfast Turnover
Nb persons: 0
|1 pkg||Pillsbury pie crusts, (contains 2)|
|1/4 pound||hot sausage|
|1/4 pound||regular sausage|
|(can use 1/2 of either)|
Cook & crumble sausage. Drain & set aside. Scramble eggs in 1/4 c. Butter, salt & pepper. Mix sausage, eggs & cheese together. Lay both crusts on large greased pan). Divide egg mixture in half & place on the 2 pie crusts. Fold crusts over making it look like a fried pie. Crimp the edges of the turnover. Make vent holes with a knife. Gentle mash out air pockets. Bake @ 375 until golden brown. Approx. 25-30 minutes. Serve with sour cream & salsa.
I reduce the number of whole eggs & use egg whites. Can add onion & green pepper.
