<RecipeText>Preparazione:

Sciacquate le vongole e mettetele in una pentola capiente su fuoco alto insieme a 750 ml d’acqua e ai ritagli delle verdure. Portate a ebollizione, coprite e cuocete finché le vongole si aprono,per 5 minuti circa. Eliminate le vongole che restano chiuse. Togliete le vongole dalle conchiglie e tritatele finemente, eliminando i gusci e i ritagli delle verdure. Filtrate il brodo per eliminare eventuali depositi e mettete da parte. Sciacquate la pentola e rimettetela su fuoco medio; friggeteci il bacon finché è croccante, per circa 8 minuti. Unite la foglia di alloro, l’aglio, la cipolla, il sedano e la carota e cuocete per 7-10 minuti, mescolando di tanto in tanto. Unite la farina: mescolate finché si colora leggermente, per 2-3 minuti circa. Incorporate lentamente il liquido delle vongole tenuto da parte. Aggiungete le patate e il timo e cuocete per 10-15 minuti. Unite le vongole, la panna, il prezzemolo, sale (se necessario) e pepe. Portate a leggera ebollizione. Se la zuppa è troppo densa, versate lentamente un po’ d’acqua bollente, sbattendo, fino a raggiungere la consistenza desiderata. Togliete dal fuoco e servite. Per 6.
