In una spianatoia versate la farina a fontana, versate il burro ammorbidito, le patate, la scorza del limone grattugiata e le uova, una alla volta.

Versate il liquore Strega, il lievito sciolto in un po&apos; di acqua tiepida con un cucchiaino di zucchero.

Impastate il tutto fino ad ottenere un impasto omogeneo e sodo. Sbattette l&apos;impasto sulla spianatoia 3 o 4 volte per assestarlo.

Prendete un pezzo di pasta alla volta e preparate dei cordoni arrotolandoli fra le mani e la spianatoia. Tagliate del pezzi di circa 15 cm e formate dei cerchi. Poneteli distanziati fra loro.

Coprite tutte le zeppole e lasciate lievitare fino al raddoppio del volume.

Friggere in olio bollente in una padella a bordi alti. Mettere su carta assorbente per l’assorbimento di un eventuale eccesso di unto e poi passarle nello zucchero misto a cannella.
Disponetele su di un bel vassoio e servite.
