Pecan Pie Cookie Bars

2/3 c | sugar |
1/2 c | butter |
1 tsp | vanilla |
1 1/2 c | flour |

2/3 c | brown sugar |
1/2 c | corn syrup |
1 tsp | vanilla |
1/4 tsp | salt |

1 c | coarsely chopped pecans |
Semi chocolate chips melted.
Heat oven to 350'. Lightly grease bottom and sides of pan. In large bowl, mix sugar, butter and vanilla. Stir in flour; mix well. Press dough in bottom and 1/2 up sides of pan. Bake 15-17 min or until edges are light brown. Beat brown sugar, corn syrup, 1 tsp vanilla, the salt and eggs with spoon. Stir in pecans. Pour over crust. Bake 25-30 min or until set. Loosen edges from sides of pan while warm and cool completely. For bars, cut into 9 rows by 4 rows. Dip 1 end of each bar into melted chocolate; lay flat to dry. 36 bars.
