Kao Mok Gai (Electric Rice Cooker)

1 kg | whole chicken |
4 tblsp | oil |
4 tblsp | chopped garlic |
1 lb (2 3/4 c) | uncooked jasmine rice |
1 tsp | curry powder |
1 tsp | salt |
2 c | chicken stock |
water, alternative |
Half the chicken, then chop each half into 3 pieces. In a wok, heat the oil, add garlic, rice, curry powder, salt and chicken. Pour into an electric rice cooker, add stock or water and set to cook as normal rice.
Serve with Kasma's Sweet & Sour Chili Sauce for Yellow Rice
