1 cup | KohlRabi |
1/2 cup | potato |
1 | onion, (medium-sized), finely chopped |
2 | tomatoes medium |
1/2 teaspoon | turmeric |
1/4 teaspoon | cumin seeds |
2.5 cm | ginger Grind to make into a paste |
2 cloves | garlic |
1/4 teaspoon | chilli, (optional) |
1/2 teaspoon | coriander leaves, (chopped) |
Salt to taste |
Utensils Saucepan-1, big bowl-1, ladle-1, plate-1
Process
Peel the outer covering of KohlRabi and cut into small pieces of 3.75 cm. Peel and wash potatoes and cut them into small pieces. Heat oil in a saucepan and fry onion till it becomes brown add cumin seeds. Add kohl rabi. Add turmeric and salt. Mix thoroughly and cook for 5 minutes. Add spice-paste. Stir it and cook by adding some water. When cooked i.e., when it gets tender add tomatoes. Cover it and cook it for another 2-3 minutes. Garnish with coriander leaves.
Yield: 2-3 servings
