3. Fried Chicken (1) (Kukhurako bhutuwa -Nepali)

1 cup gram | flour, (besan) |
2 teaspoons | salt |
1/2 teaspoon | pepper |
Mustard oil |
Utensils Frying pan-1, big spoon-1, big'plate-l, mear cutter-1, grinder-1.
Process
Cut the chicken into pieces. Coat chicken with gram flour paste mixed with salt and pepper. Fry the meat pieces in smoking mustard oil in a frying pan with a long
handle. When one side of each piece becomes golden brown, turn it over and brown the other side. When all the pieces become brown reduce heat and cover. Fry them
slowly. Make them tender but rigid by increasing the heat a bit. Take out the pieces and take out the excess oil by means of absorption with a napkin.
Note. Gravy can also be prepared from the gram flour left over after coating the chicken.
Yield: 2-3 servings
