Spicy Squid Salad (Yam plah meuk)

2-3 | chili peppers |
Pound well in mortar. | |
1/4 cup | lime juice |
3-4 tblsp | fish sauce |
Add to garlic and chilies. | |
300 grams | squid |
1/4 cup | thinly sliced shallot |
1/4 cup | thinly sliced lemongrass |
mint leaves for garnish |
Clean squid, make shallow cuts criss cross pattern. Scald in boiling water.
