Salted Peanut Crisps

1 cup | soft shortening, (part butter) |
1 1/2 cups | brown sugar, (packed) |
2 | eggs |
2 tsp | vanilla |
3 cups | Gold Medal Flour |
1 tsp | salt |
1/2 tsp | soda |
2 cups | salted peanuts |
Heat oven to 375 F.
Lightly grease baking sheet.
Mix thoroughly together shortening, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Stir together in another bowl flour, salt, and soda.
Stir in salted peanuts.
Drop dough by teaspoons about 2 inches apart. Grease the bottom of a glass. To flatten each cookie, dip glass into sugar and press onto the dough.
Bake 8-10 minutes. Cool on a wire rack. Makes about 6 dozen cookies.
