Parippu and spring onion curry

100g | dhal |
1 | onion, chopped |
2 | garlic cloves, chopped |
1 | green chilli, thinly sliced |
1 teaspoon | turmeric |
1 teaspoon | chilli powder |
1 | Knorr Chicken Cube |
1 cup | thick coconut milk |
1 cup | spring onion leaves, cut into 1 inch pieces |
METHOD
In a pot, add dhal and all the other ingredients except for the coconut milk, Knorr Chicken Cube and spring onion leaves. Add water just to cover the level of ingredients. Boil it till dhal cooks.
When the water evaporates, pour in the coconut milk and bring to boil.
Lastly, mix in the Knorr Chicken Cube and spring onion leaves.
Chef’s Tip:
Enhance the flavour of your dish by sprinkling more spring onion leaves on top just before serving.
