Orange Frosting

3/4 cup | sugar |
1/4 cup | water |
2 | stiffly beaten egg whites |
1/2 cup | orange juice |
Cook sugar, water to thread stage 232 degrees F. Pour over egg whites. Beat constantly until peaks form. Add orange juice beat until thick. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon grated orange peel.
Yield: 2 - 9" layers
