Cranberry sauce

1/2 c | balsamic vinegar |
4 t | finely shredded orange peel |
3 ten oz pkgs | fresh or frozen cranberries |
1/2 c | powdered sugar |
1/2 c | orange juice, (if fresh squeezed juice from 2 oranges) |
1 t | ground cinnamon |
Boil balsamic and orange peel in saucepan, reduce to low and simmer uncovered for 4 min or until reduced by half. Add cranberries, sugar, OJ and cinnamon. Increase heat to medium and return to a boil then reduce heat to low. Simmer uncovered for 15 min or until thickened, stirring occasionally.
Remove from heat, transfer to a bowl and let cool.
