Strawberry Pretzel Salad. Facebook Stephanie

2 1/2 C | crushed pretzels |
3 T | sugar |
3/4 C | butter |
1-8 oz. pkg | cream cheese softened |
1 C | sugar |
1 -12 oz. | cool whip |
1- 6oz. Pkg | strawberry Jello |
2 C | boiling water |
1 - 10 oz. bag | frozen strawberries |
fresh cut berries, alternative | |
Whipping cream | |
cool whip, alternative |
Topping:
Add 2 C boiling water to Jello; mix well. Add strawberries to jello. Cool jello in frige.
Crust:
Melt butter, add sugar. Crush pretzels with rolling pin & add to butter mixture .
Press into bottom of greased 9 x 13" baking pan. Bake 10 min at 350degress. Cool well
Filling:
Combine cream cheese & 1 C sugar; beat well. Add cool whip; spread over cooled crust. Pour or spoon thicker jello mixture over cream cheese mixture & set until firm. Spread additional cool whip over top. Cover refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
