POPCORN - Bacon Spiced Popcorn

Add a spicy & smokey crunch to your soups with this soup topper. The Chew Carla Hall Bacon Spiced Popcorn | |
4 slices | Bacon, (chopped) |
1/4 cup | Popcorn Kernels |
1 teaspoon | Chili Powder |
1 teaspoon | Kosher Salt |
1/2 teaspoon | Pepper |
Place chopped bacon in medium sauce pot and cook on medium low, stirring until bacon is crisp. Remove bacon from pot and set aside.
Add popcorn kernels to the pot and cover with lid. Allow the popcorn to pop until you no longer hear kernels popping. Remove from heat and pour into a large mixing bowl.
Combine chili powder, salt and pepper and sprinkle over popcorn. Toss with crispy bacon.
Serve on top of squash soup.
