Ingredients:
    1/2 packet  red lentils
1 bowl of tamarind water
    2 med  onions chopped
6-7 whole red peppers
    1tsp  zeera seeds
    1tsp  red chilli powder
    1tsp  haldi powder
    5-6  basil leaves
Coriander for garnishing
      Salt to taste
      Oil

Method:

1. Fill half of the wok with water, then put red lentils and chopped onions on boil.
2. After boiling, cool down the mixture and blend in a blender.
3. After the blending, pour mixture back in wok, followed by tamarind water.
4. Keep stirring, then add red chilli powder, haldi powder and salt.
5. For tarka, in a separate pan, put a little oil followed by zeera and basil leaves, when zeera starts sizzling, add the whole red peppers.
6. Continue frying till it reaches a nice colour, then add to the daal mix.
7. Quickly cover for nice smell after tarka.
8. Garnish with coriander and serve with rice.
