CARAMELIZED ONION SAUSAGES

Use ANY 6 inch sausage-country, sweet Italian, Chorizo, cheese, bratwurst or combo | |

3 tsp. | oil |
1 | yellow onion, sliced thin |
Whole-grain mustard
Fry whole sausages until done (6-10 min.)
Remove sausages from skillet and
Slice them, "hot dog bun style" (leave halfs attached)
I'm the same skillet, crumble the onion slices to rings and continue to fry until they caramelize.
Take skillet off heat and let it sit for 2 minutes.
Stuff each sausage with onion and spread mustard across the top.
