SOUR CREAM HALIBUT OR SALMON

1 c. | white wine or sauterne |
1 tsp. | salt |
1 lb. | halibut |
salmon fillets, alternative | |
1/2 c. | fine bread crumbs |
1 c. | mayonnaise |
1 c. | sour cream |
1/4 c. | chopped onion |
1/4 c. | chopped green pepper |
1/2 c. | chopped mushrooms |
1/2 c. | Mozzarella cheese |
Dash | paprika |
Mix wine and salt and marinate fish for at least one hour. Drain fish and dip both sides in bread crumbs. Place in greased baking dish. Mix together the next 5 ingredients. Sprinkle cheese over fish and spread mayonnaise mixture over cheese. Sprinkle the remaining bread crumbs and paprika over the top. Bake at 500 degrees for 20 minutes.
