Beef lentil soup

| 1/4 c. | red lentils |
| 1/4 c. | split green peas |
| 1/4 c. | barley |
| 1/3 c. | good beef bullion**my opinion what makes it yummy |
| 1/4 c. | dried onion minced |
| 2 tbsp. | dried parsley |
| 1/3 tsp. | thyme |
| 1/3 tsp. | pepper |
| 1tsp | basil |
| 1 tsp | garlic powder |
| 1/4 tsp | celery seed |
| 3 cups | tri-color pasta, (separate by color if giving in jar gift |
--layer in large jar for gift
--prep directions: print on label for gift jar
1 jar mix = 22 oz can crushed tomato + 8 cups water + 1 lb. ground beef or stew meat cooked and drained
bring water and tomatoes to boil,
add soup mix and simmer 15 minutes until tender, add beef and cook another 5 min, serve :)
