1/2 cup | butter |
margarine, alternative | |
1/2 cup | lard |
1 1/2 cup | sugar |
2 | eggs |
1 tsp. | vanilla |
2 2/3 c | flour |
2 tsp. | cream of tarter |
1 tsp. | baking soda |
1/4 tsp. | salt |
1 tsp. | cinnamon |
Beat butter and lard until light; add sugar and beat until fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Sift flour, cream of tarter, baking soda, and salt add to beater mixture.
Combine cinnamon and sugar.
Drop dough in balls and roll in sugar and cinnamon.
Bake on ungreased sheet 400 degrees 8-10 minutes cool on rack
