Frosted melted moments

1 cup | butter |
1/3 cup | powdered sugar |
1/4 tsp | almond extract |
3/4 cup | cornstarch |
1/8 tsp | salt |
1 cup | sifted flour |
Frosting-- 2T butter, 1 cup powdered sugar, 1/2 tsp vanilla, 1/4 tsp almond extract, cream or milk
1. Cream butter, add sugar gradually. Add almond extract, blend in dry ingredients. Chill
2. Shape level teaspoons full of dough into balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet
3. Bake at 315 about 10 minutes. Cool
Frosting-- melt butter. Stir in sugar and flavorings. Add cream to spreading consistency. Color with food coloring. 6 dozen
