Molasses Buns

| 1 cup | molasses |
| 1 cup | melted butter |
| 2 tsp | baking soda,, (mix with 3/4 cup warm water) |
| 1 | egg |
| 5 cups | flour |
| 2 tsp | allspice |
| 1 cup | sugar |
If batter is too soft, refrigerate until firm.
Roll out dough about 1" think, Cut out buns and place on greased baking sheets close together. Bake at 300 degrees for about 30 minutes.
