Cheesy Taco Pasta

1 lb | macaroni |

1 lb | ground beef |
1 | onion, chopped |
1 packet | Taco seasoning mix |
1 8oz package | cream cheese, cut into chunks |
4oz | velveeta, cubed |
1 cup | milk |
For garnished: | |
Shredded cheese | |
1 | tomato, diced |
Lettuce, chopped | |
Sour cream |
Cook pasta according to package direction; drain
Brown ground beef in a large skillet over medium-high heat
When the ground beef is completely cooked, drained off the fat, and returned to skillet
Add taco seasoning and amount of water indicated on the taco seasoning package
Once liquid has simmered down a bit, add sour cream, milk, and velveeta and stir to combined. Cook until cream cheese is melted and mixture is thick and bubbly
Pour meat and cheese mixture into a large bowl and add pasta
Garnish with sour cream, tomatoes, cheese, and lettuce as desired
