Knitting Needle Cake

Ingredients:
1 Each Angel Cake Mix
1 Sm Tin Mandarin Oranges
Several Marachino Cherries
1 Large Lime Jello
1 Pint Whipping Cream
Method:
Make up angel cake as per package instructions. Bake and let cool.
Make up half strength jello. Let cool. Remove cake from pan and
wash pan. Oil slightly. Place mandarin oranges and cherries in the
bottom of tube pan in a pretty flower pattern. Put cake back in tin.
Poke holes in cake with knitting needle. Pour cooled jello into the
holes and around the edge. Cool in refrigerator overnight. Remove
and coat outer edge with whipped cream.
