Torchy's Lasagna

1 pkg | lasagna noodles |
1 | garlic clove |
1 tbsp | italian seasoning |
1-1/4 tsp | salt |
3 c. | cottage cheese |
1 large package | slices mozzerella cheese |
1-1/2 lb | hamburger |
1 lb | can tomatoes |
2 6 oz cans tomato paste | |
1/2 c. | parmesan cheese |
2 tbsp | parsley flakes |
2 | eggs |
Brown meat
Add garlic, italian seasoning, salt, tomatoes, tomato paste
Simmer uncovered for 30 minutes
Cook noodles, drain and rinse
In a bowl mix cottage cheese, parmesan cheese, parsley flakes, eggs, 2 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp pepper
Put very thin layer of meat mixture in caserole dish then 1/2 noodles, then 1/2 cottage cheese, then 1/2 mozeralla then half of the meat. Repeat, endeding with meat mixture.
Bake at 375 F for 30 min. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting into squares.
