1 tsp | salt |
1 tsp | paprika |
1 tsp | chili powder |
1/2 tsp | ground cumin |
1/8 tsp | cayenne |
4 lb | bone-in pork shoulder, cut into 3 pieces and trimmed of all visible fat |
1 | onion, thinly sliced |
1/2 C | brown sugar |
1/2 C | ketchup |
1/3 C | cider vinegar |
1/4 C | tomato paste |
1/4 C | water |
2 tbsp | mustard |
2 tbsp | worcestershire sauce |
1/2 tsp | hot-pepper sauce |
DIRECTIONS Mix salt, paprika, chili powder, cumin, and cayenne. Rub all over pork. Combine pork and remaining ingredients in large slow cooker. Cover and cook on low 6 to 8 hours.
