Amish Baked Oatmeal

1 1/2 cups | Oatmeal |
1/2 cup | white or brown sugar |
1/2 | milk |
1/4 cup | melted butter |
1 | egg |
1 tsp | baking powder |
1/2 tsp | salt |
1 tsp | vanilla |
Optional: | |
warm milk | |
fresh fruit |
Combine first 8 ingredients: mix well. Spread into a well greased 9x9 pan. Bake at 350* for 25-30 minutes or until edges are golden brown. Immediately spoon into bowls to serve. Add more milk or fruit if desired.
