Anzac Biscuits

    1 Cup  rolled oats
    3/4 Cup  desiccated coconut
    1 Cup  plain flour
    1 1/2 tsp  bicarbonate soda
    2 tablespoons  boiling water
    1 Cup  sugar
    125g  butter
    1 Tablespoon  golden syru

Preheat oven to slow baking temperature (~ 150 deg celcius)

Grease baking trays.

Combine rolled oats, sifted flour, sugar and coconut.

Combine butter and golden syrup, stir over gentle heat until melted.

Mix bicarbonate soda with boiling water, add to melted butter mixture and stir into dry ingredients.

Spoon dessert spoonfuls of mixture onto greased oven trays; allow room for spreading.

Bake or aprox 20 minutes.

Cool on trays.
