Instructions Things You'll Need 1 fully cooked ham, 6 to 8 pounds
    1 cup  packed brown sugar
1 tbsp.  cider or balsamic vinegar
    1/2 tsp.  ground mustard
      Whole cloves, optional

1
Preheat the oven to 325 degrees. Score the ham with a knife to make diamond shapes on the top of the ham. Insert a clove at the center of each diamond.

2
Place the ham in the oven for about one and a half hours, with the fat side up. Cover the ham loosely with aluminum foil.

3
Combine brown sugar, mustard and cider vinegar in a mixing bowl. This makes the classic brown sugar glaze for hams.

4
Remove the ham from the oven about 20 minutes before the ham is supposed to be finished. Pour the drippings from the pan.

5
Spread the glaze over the ham. Place the ham back in the oven uncovered for the last 20 minutes. Cover the ham back up and let it stand in the oven until the internal temperature has reached 140 degrees.
