2 eggs. 1 tsp ginger. 1/2 tsp cloves
    1 cup  brown sugar. 1 cup grandma's molasses. 1 cup lard, (melted)
    2 tsp  baking soda in 1/8 cup hot water. 1 1/2 tsp vinegar
    2 (1 oz) squares  melted chocolate. 1 tsp salt
    1 tsp  cinnamon About 5 cups flour
Mix all above ingredients (add flour last) Roll out dough and cut with festive cookie cutters place on parchment on cookie sheets. Bake at 350 degrees 10-12 min.
      Frosting
    1 cup  white sugar. 1 egg white. 1/8 tsp cream of tartar
    1/3 cup  water

Combine sugar, water, cream of tartar. Stir on high Heat until dissolved.
Cover and continue cooking 3 min. Meanwhile beat egg white. Pour 3 Tbs of syrup over beaten egg whites. Continue beating and cook remaining syrup until 240 degrees. Add syrup to egg white slowly continue beating till forms stiff peaks
Frost cookies then sprinkle with colored sugar balls.
