Italian Pork Chops (crockpot)

6 | bacon strips, diced |
1/2 lb | fresh mushrooms, sliced |
1 medium | onion, chopped |
1 clove | garlic, minced |
3/4 cup | flour |
1/4 tsp | salt |
1/8 tsp | pepper |
4 tsp | Italian seasoning |
1/4 tsp | garlic powder |
Dash | cayenne pepper |
6 bone-in pork chops (1 inch thick) | |
1 can (14 1/2 oz) | diced tomatoes, un-drained |
1 can (14 1/2 oz) | chicken broth |
1 can (6 oz) | tomato paste |
Cook bacon until crisp - sauté mushrooms, onion, and garlic - put in slow cooker.
In a bowl, combine flour, and 3 tsp Italian seasoning, salt, garlic powder, pepper and cayenne pepper.
Coat pork chops - then brown the pork chops.
Transfer to slow cooker - top with tomatoes and bacon.
Combine broth, tomato paste, 1 tsp Italian seasoning ... Add to cooker.
Cover and cook on Low for 4-6 hours
Serve with pasta
