| 1.5 lbs | ground beef |
| 1 cup | bread crumbs |
| 3-4 cloves | garlic, finely minced |
| 1 large | onion, finely chopped |
| 1 large | green bell pepper, chopped |
| 1 | egg |
| 1.5 tsp | salt |
| 1/2 tsp | garlic powder |
| 1/2 tsp | onion powder |
| 1/4 tsp | pepper |
| 1/4 cup | Parmesan cheese |
| Sauce: | |
| 8oz can | tomato sauce |
| 1 cup | ketchup |
| 1/2 cup | water |
| 3 tbsp | balsamic vinegar |
| 3 tbsp | brown sugar |
| 2 tbsp | mustard |
| 2 tbsp | Worcestershire sauce |
1. Combine beef, bread crumbs, onions, peppers, garlic, egg, seasonings, 3/4 cup sauce mixture, Parmesan cheese.
2. Form into loaf in lightly oiled 7x10" pan. Pour remaining sauce over top. Bake at 350 for 1 hour and 15 minutes. Baste with ketchup or barbecue sauce.
