6 Cups | Zucchini, (8 cups) peel, seed, apple slicen |
2/3 Cup | Lemon juice |
Simmer 10 - 15 mins | |
1 Cup | Sugar |
1/2 Teaspoon | Cinnamon |
1/4 Teaspoon | Nutmeg |
Simmer 2 more mins. add 1/2 cup crust mixture and mix CRUST | |
4 Cups | Flour |
1 1/2 Cups | Sugar |
1 Teaspoon | Salt |
1 1/2 Cups | Butter |
Make crust by cutting butter into dry ingredients. Pat half (minus 1/2 cup used for filling) into a 9x13 pan. Ke at 375 for 10 mins. Pour in zucchini mixture into crust, add 1 teaspoon cinnamon to remaining crust and cover the zucchini filling. Bake at 375 for 30 mins or till golden.
