1 Pillsbury refrigerated pie crust
    3 Tbl  butter
    3  eggs, beaten
    1 tsp.  salt
      pepper
    2 Tbl  skim milk
    4 large  onions, cut in strips
    1 12-oz can  fat free evaporated milk
    1/2 C  Gruyere cheese, grated
    1 Tbl  cornstarch

Saute onions in butter. Add canned milk and bring to boil. Transfer all into a bowl and allow to cool. Add eggs and cheese, salt and pepper. Mix skim milk with corn starch to make a smooth paste. Add to filling and pour into pie pan, after piercing the crust bottom with a fork. Bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes.
