2 lbs | round steak or boneless beef steak |
1/4 C | peanut oil or olive oil |
1 large | onion, chopped, (1 Cup) |
2 Cups | celery, sliced |
2 cans | sliced mushrooms |
1 can | cream of chicken soup |
1/2 C | water |
1/4 C | soy sauce |
2 C | shredded chinese cabbage |
1/4 C | toasted, slivered almonds |
Cut meat into 2 inch long strips. Brown meat in oil, remove. Saute onion and add celery. Mis soup and other ingredients except cabbage and place in roasting pan. Bake for 1 hour covered, then uncover and put cabbage on top. Cover and cook another 10 minutes. Serve with rice.
