3 tablespoons | lemon juice |
3 large | onions, chopped |
1/4 cup | split peas |
1/4 cup | pearl barley |
1head | green cabbage, large chrunks |
1 cup | raisins or currents |
1 cup | chopped walnuts |
1 cup | unsweetened soy milk |
2 cups | fresh-squeezed Apple juice |
4 cups | water |
2 cups | chopped carrots |
1 teaspoon | Oregano |
2 tablespoons | dehydrated vegetable soup mix such as VegeBase |

1/4 cup | raw cashews |
1/4 cup | raw almonds |
Make this thick, quick and creamy soup by adding all the ingredients except the nuts to a pot and simmer on low heat for 20 minutes.
Then purée the soup with the nuts in a food processor or good blender until smooth.
