<RecipeText>Preheat oven to 375 degrees.  Cut 1 (8.5-12 oz.) French bread baguette into 1/4&quot; thick slices (yields around 50 slices).  Place on a baking sheet, and bake 5 minutes or until toasted.  top each toasted bread slice with your favorite soft cheese, preserve, and toasted nut.  for small get-togethers, offer one or two selections from each category; for larger parties, offer three or four.
