2 cups | water |
2 | carrots chopped |
2 potatoes cut into chunks | |
1 | onion chopped |
2 | bay leaves |
1/2 tablespoon | dried basil |
3/4 cup | tomato juice |
16 ounce | can pinto beans rinsed and drained |
1/2 head | cabbage chopped |
Black pepper to taste |
Combine first seven ingredients in a soup pot and cook ten minutes add rest of ingredients cook fifteen minutes or until vegetables are tender
Season with black pepper
