Gravies and Sauces--Green ricotta sauce

2 teaspoons | canola oil |
1 | onion diced |
2 cloves | garlic minced |
8 cups | spinach |
kale, alternative | |
chard, alternative | |
1/2 cup | basil coarsely chopped |
1 cup | ricotta cheese lack pepper to taste |
In a large sauce pan heat the oil over med heat. Add onion and garlic cook four minutes. Stirring Add greens and cook about four minutes. Or until wilted. Puree Add ricotta and black pepper
Combine the ricotta sauce with pasts and serve immediately
