| 2 cups | flour |
| 1/2 teaspoon | salt |
| 2/3 cup | shortening |
| 1 | egg yolk |
| 1 tablespoon | lemon juice |
| Cut in shortening to dry ingredients. Combine egg yolk and lemon juice with enough water to make 2/3 cup. Stir in flour mixture until soft dough. Roll half dough on floured surface, rectangle shape and put in 9 x 13 pan, extending 1/2 nch on edge of pan. Fill with apple mixture. Apple Mixture: | |

| 1/4 teaspoon | cinnamon |
| 2 tablespoons | flour |
| 1 cup | sugar |
Top with remaining rolled dough, crimp edges; slit top. Bake 375 degrees 45-50 minutes. While warm drizzle with powdered sugar icing.
