6 | egg whites |
1/4 teaspoon | salt |
1/4 teaspoon | cream of tartar |
2 cups | caster sugar |
1 tablespoon | cornflour |
1 tablespoon | malt vinegar |
2 teaspoon | vanilla essence |
Beat eggs, salt & cream of tartar till soft peak forms
Slowly add sugar (mixture should be thick & glassy)
Fold in the remaining ingredients
Bake at 140C for 1&1/2 hours or until crisp
Cool
