Aunt Elizabeth Estabrook's Oatmeal Cookies

2 cups | White Flour, or substitute sorghum flour |
1/2 tea | salt |
2 tea | cinnamon |
3/4 tea | soda |
2 cups | oatmeal or rolled oats |
1 cup | nuts, chopped |
3/4 cup | raisins or currents |
1 cup | crisco or butter |
1 cup | sugar or splenda |
2 | eggs |
Directions: Sift the dry ingredients, add oatmeal, nuts and raisins or currants. Cream together sugar and crisco or butter. Add Eggs. Add the creamed mixgture to the dry
ingredients. Mix well. Spoon by teaspoons onto a cookie sheet. Bake at 350-375 for a few minutes till light brown.
