2 tbsp | olive oil |
4 lb | boneless beef chunk roast |
1 tbsp | onion powder |
1 tbsp | garlic powder |
1 tbsp | dried oregano |
2 tsp | salt |
1/4 tsp | black pepper |
5 large | onions, chopped |
1 can (28 oz) | dried tomatoes, undrained |
Method:
1.In a large pot, heat the oil over medium-high heat & brown the roast for 8 minutes, turning to brown on all sides.
2.Sprinkle the onion powder, garlic powder, oregano, salt & pepper over the roast, then add the onions & tomatoes to the pot.
3.Reduce the heat to low, cover & simmer for 2 1/2-3 hours or until the roast is tender.
4.Slice & serve with juice.
