Peach and Rosemary syrup

    3/4 c  sugar
    1 1/2 c  water
    4 large  ripe peaches, (1 3/4 pds), baled, pitted and cut into 1" slices
    4 sprigs  Rosemary plus some for garnish

Bring sugar and water to boil in a medium saucepan. Stir until cigar dissolves.
Add peaches a rosemary and bring to a simmer. Remove from heat . Cover and let cool. Discard Rosemary, peel peaches, if desired. Transfer to a container and refrigerate for at least one hour.

Use 1/4 c syrup and 2 peach slices to make drinks. Combine with unsweetened iced tea or 1/2 c wine. Top up with seltzer....or just combine with seltzer. Drink is the prettiest peachy pink!
