Crushed Almond Cake -Bruce

1/2 tsp | salt |
1 cup(s) | sugar |
1 tsp | almond extract |
1/2 tsp | vanilla |
1 cup(s) | ground almonds |
Beat egg whites with salt to stiff.Beat yolks with sugar. Beat in
flavourings. Stir in ground almonds. Fold in egg whites. Pour batter
into 9x9 square pan and bake at 325 for 40 min to done.Light icing with
toasted almonds on top. Or serve with berries or peaches and
whippedcream,;
