BBQ sauce - Eastern NC style

| 4 C | cider vinegar |
| 1/3 C | hot sauce |
| 1 T | crushed red pepper |
| 3 T | liquid smoke |
| 2 T | salt |
| 1 T | black pepper |
| 1/2 C | packed brown sugar |
Mix all ingredients well heat but don't boil to dissolve brown sugar completely.
