6 pork loin chops | |
4 Tbs | all purpose flour |
2 Tbs | veg oil |
3 med | potatoes, cubes |
1 med | onion chopped |
1 sm | cabbage chopped |
1/4 tsp | salt |
1/2 tsp | pepper |
2 tsp | beef bouillon granules |
1/4 cup | water |
14 1/2 oz | diced tomatoes for chili |
2 Tbs | cornstarch |
water |
1:Trim excess fat from chops. Coat chops with 2 Tbs of flour. In lrg skillet over med heat brown chops in oil
2:In slow cooker place potatoes and onions, sprinkle remaining flour over and toss to coat. Layer over potato mixture in order, cabbage,salt, pepper , and pork chops, bouillon granules, 1/4 cup of water and tomatoes. DO NOT STIR
3:Cover and cook on low for 7-8 hour4:To serve, transfer meat and vegs to lrg platter, cover
5:In small saucepan, stir sour cream 1/2 cup and cornstarch til smooth, add to cooking liquid til thickened,pour over chops and serve
