Salted Peanut Crisps

1 1/2 cup | soft shortening, (part butter) |
2 1/4 cup | brown sugar |
3 | eggs |
3 teaspoon | vanilla |
4 1/2 cup | flour |
1 1/2 teaspoon | salt |
3/4 teaspoon | baking soda |
3 cups | salted peanuts |
Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart. Grease bottom of glass, dip glass in sugar and press to flatten. Bake 8-10 minutes.
Yield: 6-9 dozen?
